Bayfront Maritime Center - An Erie Community Asset!
On Thursday November 10th, the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority, ECGRA, recognized the Bayfront Maritime Center as a Community Asset and awarded $10,019 to help with Erie's first Small Boat Festival. The 3rd Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta is expanding in 2012 into the Small Boat Festival which will include the Presque Isle Bay Messabout, a Traditional Small Craft Association weekend-long gathering of traditional and contemporary hand-crafted boats. We would like to thank the ECGRA for the Erie Community Asset check that will help fund this family friendly waterfront event, scheduled August 17-19 to coincide with Celebrate Erie.
