Free Cardboard Boat Construction Class
A free workshop will be held at BCMS on Tuesday, August 17th from 7:00-8:30pm on building a cardboard boat for the upcoming Cardboard Boat Regatta. The class will cover materials, construction methods, tips, and techniques.

Erie sailor and boat enthusiast Steve Giewont will lead the workshop, which will feature instructional videos and helpful websites as well as a cardboard boat on display.
Cardboard boat racing - fun for the whole family!
Erie’s first Cardboard Boat Regatta, hosted by BCMS, will take place on Saturday, September 11, with a parade of entries at 10:00am, races start at 1:00pm. It will take place in the East Canal Basin, behind BCMS on Holland Street. Be sure to check the website for updates as the regatta approaches.
