June 13, 2010 | News & Events

On Saturday June 12th, the Erie Adaptive Sailing Experience, EASE, launched its brand new Access Dinghy. The launching coincided with the Erie Safe Boating Day at Wolverine Marina in Erie's West Canal Basin, and was the training and recruitment day for EASE volunteers.

The EASE program is staffed by an exceptional group of 15 volunteers who gave 1200 hours of their time last sailing season. With the addition of another Access Dinghy the EASE program will be able to reach almost twice the number of participants. EASE is the only adaptive sailing program in Pennsylvania.
