The BCMS Erie Maritime Museum Collaboration Continues
Work continues on the Brig Niagara t'gallant yards in the BCMS boatshop. The students helped Rob and Jeff from the Niagara crew attach clewline blocks, royal sheet blocks, brace pendants, and rolling tackle strops.

These high school students are learning about Erie's maritime history, and about maritime career opportuities while they are working with Niagara crew and BCMS staff. Lessons learned include teamwork and attention to detail. Some of these kids are considering volunteering at the Erie Maritime Museum.
