Simulator Fun
BCMS played host to Mr. Lindell and Ms. Lego's classes last week. These students clamped a gunwale into place, cut it to length, and got a lesson in mechanical advantage as they hoisted each other (and Ms. Lego) into the rafters on a boatswain's chair. After these rigorous activities the students proceeded to our maritime training simulator room. This is a video that was made by Mr. Lindell of the students as they used our training simulator for the first time. It is incredibly rewarding to see students so enthralled with education! We are extremely fortunate to have this tool at our campus.
